Fault codes, live sensor data, clearing warning lights after a repair. Before we replace anything, we know what is wrong.

When to come in
- The check engine, ABS, ESP or airbag light is on
- The car goes into limp mode and loses power
- The engine runs rough, jerks or uses more fuel
- The warning light stays on after a part was replaced
- You want to check a used car before buying it
What we do
- Reading and interpreting fault codes from every control unit
- Live data, sensors, mixture, pressures
- Actuator tests
- Clearing faults and service reminders after a repair
- Pre-purchase checks on used cars
A warning light on the dashboard is an invitation to guess. The fault code points to the circuit where something is off, but it does not say whether the culprit is a sensor, the wiring, a connector or the control unit itself. Replacing parts by the code often ends with a second visit and the same light.
That is why reading the codes is where we start, not where we stop. Next we check the live data: what the lambda sensor shows, how the air flow meter behaves, what pressure the control unit sees. Only then do we tell you what to replace. If the car has to be driven for the fault to come back, we drive it with the tester connected.
Questions about this service
Is reading the fault codes enough?
A fault code tells you which circuit reported a problem, not which part is broken. So after reading it we look at the live data and test the part before we tell you what to replace.
